God knows you intimately. He knows every small problem you are worried about and every single burden you have. And when you approach Him for help, He has all the time for you as if no one else exists. That is how valuable you are to Him and how absorbed He is in you!

Hey guys, please spread the word about a missing teen from Johns Creek, GA. He is not a runaway. He is believed to be alive and possibly in the North Georgia mountains. He is known to be driving a black Jeep Cherokee Sport, Georgia tag BTL0653. Anyone with information should call Detective Kevin Rampley at 678-474-1594 or email kevin.rampley@johnscreekga.gov.He was last known to be at a gas station- no phone to track, no GPS in his car. Several search parties have been organized, but any additional help would be greatly appreciated. For more information, please ‘like’ the link below:

There’s a girl at my University whose little brother has been (ostensibly) missing in the North Georgia mountains since Thursday morning. He isn’t a runaway, he is a missing person; their parents have reason to believe he is alive and trying to find his way out of the wilderness.
I’m going to see if I can wrangle some people up to go search for him. I’m calling my Pee Paw right now to see if he would be willing to meet me around there.
Please, please, please pray for guidance. Here is a link to what little information there is, here is his sister’s Twitter. Please, spread this. He has been missing since Thursday morning and could be injured. There’s a BOLO out for him right now.
Updates are incredibly scant, so please pray that more information comes out - and that he’s found.

The more a person becomes involved in sin, the less he sees it. Sin is a hideous disease that destroys a person’s ability to comprehend its existence.

Okay people…there is this awesome guy named Nick Myers(he’s the farthest to the right).  He is a sophomore in high school, goalie for Gulfport High, and fighting leukemia.  He is being treated at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Through many fundraisers and prayers is doing better but still fighting.  Spread the word all around about him and keep him in your prayers! Pray for him please!!! Thank you and God bless!

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.

A New Beginning: Isaiah 53:5; repost. →

johnnyis:

Things Jesus didn’t die for:

  • Your space in heaven.
  • Your nifty Christian t-shirt.
  • Your right to vote Republican. Or Democrat. Or to vote in general. (He was more concerned with the Kingdom of Heaven than the kingdom of America.)
  • Your Cadillac.
  • Your billfold.
  • Your big house.
  • Your purpose-driven life.
  • Your feelings.
  • Your family life.

Things Jesus did die for:

  • Your total depravity.
  • Your inability to control your lust.
  • Your insatiable desire to cut yourself.
  • Your propensity to hate others.
  • Your propensity to hate Him.
  • Your obsessive devotion to any part of creation rather than a single thought of the Creator.
  • Your sin.
  • You.

But he was wounded for our transgressions
he was crushed for our iniquities
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace
and with his stripes we are healed.
